Watermelon Radish - Pink Inside

To my immense delight, the inside of watermelon radishes are indeed pink. They have a sweet and mild flavour. An excellent find. But what to do with them? Well, I got a bit froofroo and made an amuse with it. No, I don't make an amuse bouche every night - but what the heck. There's always a time and a place. So there you have it: watermelon radish carpaccio. Posh and slightly silly, but with the combined flavour of carraway seeds,  apple cider vinegar and cold-pressed canola oil, it tasted great. Crunchy and piquant and very pretty. What can I say, I got in touch with my feminine side tonight.
